Jordan Baltman

Jordan is a senior family lawyer and the head of Precision Legal’s family law team.
Jordan graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Laws in 2008 and subsequently earned a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Society of South Australia in 2009.
Prior to joining Precision Legal, Jordan practised for many years in a boutique practice, specialising in family law and in the preparation of wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Advanced Care Directives. He also has prior experience in criminal law, personal injuries, administrative law and commercial law. As a result, Jordan has experience representing clients in a wide range of jurisdictions including the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, the Supreme Court of South Australia and the District Court of South Australia, as well as appearing in various Magistrates Courts across both suburban Adelaide and country South Australia.

Since joining Precision Legal in 2023 to head up our family law team, Jordan’s practice has specialised in family law. Jordan can assist you with all aspects of your family law matter, including parenting disputes, property settlements, spousal maintenance applications, applications for divorce and child support matters. Jordan can also assist you with the preparation of estate planning documents.
Jordan understands the emotional and financial toll that Court proceedings can cause and is dedicated to working together with his clients to settle matters outside of Court through negotiation and/or mediation wherever appropriate. Jordan prides himself on providing honest, forthright advice to his clients and working hard to help them achieve desired outcomes.
Jordan is active in the Adelaide family law community, being a current member of the Law Society of South Australia’s Family Law Committee, and in his younger days Jordan co-founded a young family lawyers group to help younger lawyers across Adelaide to network, socialise and connect with one another. In his free time, Jordan enjoys playing Cricket and Basketball and relaxing and unwinding at home.
