Dea practices in the wills and estates team and family law team, and is admitted as a solicitor and barrister of the Supreme Court of South Australia and High Court of Australia.

Prior to joining Precision Legal, Dea commenced her career as a legal clerk in a boutique law firm, specialising in criminal law and traffic law. During this time she assisted with trial preparation for complex criminal defence matters and gained valuable knowledge, experience and insight. After graduating, Dea joined Precision Legal to practice predominantly in the area of wills and estates, however has since expanded her knowledge and legal experience across various areas of practice and jurisdictions such as family law.

Areas of Practice

Wills, Estates and Estate Litigation

Dea practices primarily in Wills and Estates and advises her clients in all aspects of estate planning, including the drafting of wills (both simple wills and more complex wills incorporating testamentary trusts), Advance Care Directives and Enduring Powers of Attorney. Dea also has experience drafting succession plan documents for company and trust structures within high-value estates, and assisting in complex estate administration and estate litigation matters.

Dea uses her unique mix of skills and experiences to find the best possible solutions for her clients, no matter the circumstances. She takes pride in her detail-oriented and client-focused approach, making sure to provide advice that is tailored to each individual’s needs. She takes the utmost care in ensuring that her clients are kept well-informed of their options at every stage of the process and always seeks to make estate planning a positive experience for her clients.

Family Law

Dea also practices in family law and assists with matters relating to parenting disputes, matrimonial and de facto property settlements and has represented clients in divorce matters.

Dea understands the complexities and emotional challenges that inevitably arise in family law matters. She is passionate about supporting her clients through this difficult time and is dedicated to ensuring that they have every opportunity to achieve a positive resolution outside of court, whether that is through negotiation or mediation.
